We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for Project Officer within the Technology Function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.
Detailed Description
The role holder will responsible for updating, maintaining and storage of project documentation and schedules. Overseeing accuracy of project information systems. Budget and Project reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with day to day Project Administration duties such as:
- Providing support to various Project Managers in the Network Project Management team
- Project Admin duties (e.g. minutes, setting up meetings etc.)
- Tracking and reporting on Status of various key projects (i.e. weekly, monthly, ad hoc etc.)
- Assisting with defining , creation and updating of divisional processes
- Advising management team on matters requiring urgent attention
Budgets
- Assist in compiling Budget submissions
- Tracking and reporting on CAPEX and OPEX budgets
- Tracking and reporting on status of various Purchase orders in the division
- Request quotes from suppliers and engage with Supply Chain Management and other teams
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Matric (essential)
- Project Management, Purchasing or related fields
- A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in purchasing
- OR
- 3yr Degree/Diploma, with 1 yr experience in purchasing
