Our client in the import and export industry is looking for an active and proactive export officer that is willing to transform its services to the next level. If you are well experienced with export, have what it takes to tackle new challenges in a new environment then this job is for you. 

Your key responsibilities will be:  

• Plan and carry out export activities for the organization.
• Manage, document, control, check or assist with issuing of all export documents.
• Provide professional, efficient and timeous communications to the organization with regard to tariffs, incoterms, duties, restrictions and permits.
• Manage the export Import processes in a cost-effective way 
• Assist procurement and Bank Relationship team with financial duties regarding export processes in an effective and responsible way as well as the daily running processes.
• Ensure the compliance with the policies and procedures
• Accurate and timeous reporting of relevant management information to export.
• Effective negotiation of duties and terms for export.
• Knowledge of freights, custom duties, tariffs and permits.

Requirements 

• Strong computer skills and knowhow with MS Word, MS Excel, 
• Excellent technical reading and writing skills in English language
• Self –initiative & ability to manage own work with little supervision
• Good interpersonal relationship, negotiation skills, data Organizational & Analytical skills

Qualification and Experience

Education:

• BA Degree in Marketing, Logistics, Business Administration, or other related fields
•  2+ years of relevant work experience on export
