Job Description
Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief (CPAR) is seeking an experienced and collaborative Country Manager to oversee its project implementation in Ethiopia. CPAR has a 38-year history as an international development organization focused on health system strengthening and the determinants of health. The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned leader with the experience and skills to manage effective implementation of healthcare-focused international development projects in Ethiopia. Reporting to CPAR’s Executive Director, the Country Manager will work in close collaboration with the Administration and Finance Manager, and a skilled and dedicated team of project implementation experts and support staff in Ethiopia. The ideal candidate possesses a collaborative and inclusive leadership style and has proven abilities to build and leverage the strengths of their team members. This is a full-time position, based in CPAR’s Addis Ababa office, with occasional travel required to project locations throughout Ethiopia. The salary range for this role is per CPAR’s salary scale and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
