• Responsible in directing and coordinate plant operations within company policies and procedures
• Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance
• Developing a strategic and operational plans to processes and increase productivity and enhance performance
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times,
• Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance
• Establish, monitor and maintain plant systems, policies and procedures.
• Responsible for plant production goals.
• Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of purchasing, production, inventory, storage and shipping operations
• Responsible for establishing all shift production schedules.
• Prepare operating reports and budgets
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety regulations
• Ensure all compliance needs are met
• Report and track expenses to reduce costs
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe working environment
• Ensure all legal requirements, company safety procedures, and local and state health and safety regulations are met

Job Requirements

• BSc degree in Engineering, Business Management, Plant Science, and related fields  

Experience required

• 8 year Proven industrial experience, out of which 3 years’ experience in same role within the food/beverage or similar industry
• Good understanding of field to factory operations, CI and successful implementation and management of Food Safety and Quality standards, GMP and food and feed safety regulations
• Knowledge of malting/Brewing processes highly appreciated
