Job Description
Development Expertise Center (DEC) is a National Civil Society Organization (CSO) aspires to see all marginalized children properly fostered. The organization has four major programme areas; Child Development, Gender and Life Skill Development; Skills and Entrepreneurship Development and and Lobby & advocacy . DEC works in four National Regional States of Amhara, Afar and Oromia Benishangul and Addis Ababa City Administration. DEC would like to recruit on the following position:
- Ensure completeness of supporting documentations for payment.
- Responsible for petty cash disbursements, replenishment and petty cash count.
- Ensure bank and petty cash transactions are recorded on a daily basis.
- Prepare monthly cash-flow control sheets with original documents of all transactions and
- Review field budget activities to ensure cost efficiency.
- Ensure all transactions are processed and ready in time for month end and quarter end close as per agreed timetable,
- Review payment vouchers, bank & petty cash control sheets,
- Verify travel expense reports.
- Issue, track and reconcile approved travel advances to field office staff; review
