Main tasks

• Manage the maintenance and repair of all production facilities, processes, and premises
• Develop and lead the maintenance team and the automated maintenance management system to continuously improve the performance of the site in line with the requirements of the company's strategy and to reduce the overall cost of maintenance throughout the cycle
• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance
• Supporting the installation of new equipment and projects
• Ensuring the documentation of all reparations in the maintenance management system
• Carry out an analysis of the causes of any non-compliant results that require corrective and preventive action to avoid any occurrence
• Participate in customer audits and technical reviews
• Comply with all applicable procedures, laws, and regulations
• Monitor and optimize the site's energy consumption (shared responsibility with production)
• Participate in the continuous improvement program (BOPEX) and in the Group's industrial projects
• Applying and enforcing safety rules and promoting the Boortmalt safety culture
• Ensure on-call duty
• Being involved in volume and quality

Master we are looking for?

Education & Experience required

• BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years Proven industrial experience out of which 3 years in a similar role within the food/beverage, engineering, or similar industry
• Good understanding of planned and preventative maintenance systems, fact-finding, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement techniques, general technical knowledge on managing a day-to-day production facility
• Knowledge of malting/Brewing processes is highly appreciated
