Job Description
Our client in the manufacturing sector is looking for an active and proactive cost and budget Accountant candidate that is willing to transform its services to the next level. If you are well experienced and have what it takes to tackle new challenges in a new environment then this job is for you.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Maintains the company’s Budget and Cost accounting records in conformance with legal requirements & accepted accounting principles and standards;
- Supervises and verifies goods in transit accounts and maintains merchandise and fixed assets inventory records;
- Reconciles stock ledgers with stock card records;
- Determines cost and selling prices of merchandise commodities;
- Prepares and control of budgets;
- Determines of repair and maintenance job costs;
- Verifies of coding and classification of materials receipts, issues and transfer vouchers;
- Provides assistance in making professional decisions concerning the accounting treatment of complex and unusual financial transaction encountered and others
- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations, assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
- Produce error-free accounting reports, prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
- Other jobs as assigned by supervisor
Qualification
- BA or higher in Accounting or Finance,
- Must have experience in the manufacturing sector
- Must have costing, recording and posting experience
- Experience in PLC, Wholesale and retail is highly preferable
- 5+ years accounting/finance experience
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines
- IFRS Certified needs to be familiar with CNET software
- Must have good communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented, good documentation skills and organized in work
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees
