Bridge TV is a brand new television network that is owned and operated by Bridge Media PLC. Bridge, based in Addis Ababa, is looking to engage the following staff on a three-month contract with the prospect of extension. Job Responsibilities:
- Proofreads and edits the work of content producers.
- Ensures the team’s tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Fact checks and verifies information and research for the media work.
- Manages and updates social media accounts and websites.
- Contributes new ideas for future works and productions.
- Monitors user engagement and other KPIs.
- Assist productions on frequent bases.
- Any other task assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or similar subjects with five years of relevant experience.
- Experience on media settings as content editor or production person is a good asset.
- Hands-on experience with MS Office and publishing tools.
- Strong communication skills
- Team player and Highly organized
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills
- An excellent knowledge of Afaan Oromo, Amharic and English are mandatory
- Expressed passion for journalism and TV work (preferable)
- Flexibility on time and deadline focused work environment (preferable)
