Our client in the tourism, hotel aggregator & franchising industry is looking for an active and proactive Senior Sales and Tour Operator that is willing to transform its services to the next level. If you are well experienced with marketing, sales and tour operation, have what it takes to tackle new challenges in a new environment then this job is for you. 

Your key responsibilities will be:  

• Responsible for the smooth operation of Tour Managements and customer service
• Overseeing all tour and office operations
• Providing exceptional customer service for all tours and business operations
• traveling either to uncover destinations or accompanying travelers
• Daily communicating with prospective customers, guests, and partners
• Solving any post-tour issues with guests, partnering establishments, tour guides, etc.
• managing all aspects of travel operations including reservations, ticketing, travel coordination and customer support
• overall controlling day-to-day operations
• Conducting training on service standards for employees
• Evaluate how latest technology trends can be leveraged on to improve productivity and innovation
• Maintain office operations and procedures

Requirements 

• Self-going
• Have experience in the travel and tourism sector at all levels, but are willing and have the capacity to challenge the status quo that means to revitalize and bring about new approaches
• Flexible in their work schedule and situation in general 
• Willing to travel either to uncover destinations, or accompanying travelers
• Have a good sense of marketing in general, as well as digital means of promotions and pushing products and services
• Strong computer skills and knowhow with MS office, 
• Excellent English writing and speaking skill Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Self –initiative & ability to organize and lead a team
• Office management and event planning experience desirable
• Good interpersonal relationship, negotiation skills, data Organizational & Analytical skills.

Qualification and Experience

• BA Degree in Tourism Management, Tour Operations Management, hospitality, travel, business management or relevant field.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Candidates with travel experience within Ethiopia
