OM Consulting and Engineering is an IT consulting company providing services to organizations to improve business performance, optimize customer service, and tap in digital transformation to achieve their business objectives.

We are looking for a disciplined and artistic Animator with a firm grasp on animation techniques, fundamentals, and software. The animator will read through scripts and speak with clients to understand project needs, create storyboards and animations, and assist in the editing process. You should be collaborative, knowledgeable, and reliable.

Animator Responsibilities

• Create expressive character animation portraying a wide range of emotions
• Create multiple design drafts and collaborate with teams and stakeholders for final direction
• Create high-quality animations by utilizing both hand key animation and motion capture data
• Create and elaborate on storyboards for requested projects
• Collaborate with other animators, clients, and producers
• Utilize industry animation tools or methods to finalize animation projects
• Create prototypes and mock-ups of new types of products
• Brainstorm and conceptualize ideas, with the ability to produce concept sketches and quick concept edits
• Comprehend and execute direction from the lead animator or animation supervisor

Job Requirements

Animator Requirements

• 2 years of experience drawing and animating
• Bachelor’s degree in fine arts and designs
• Experience using animation software, such as Adobe Animate, Maya, Cinema 4D, or Blender
• Proven ability to draw across different types of artistic styles
• Experience implementing different animation styles, including traditional animation, 3D computer animation, 2D vector animation and others
• General computer literacy, including experience with common operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS) and productivity tools
• Strong desire and ability to work collaboratively to fulfill project demands
• Ability to work independently as needed
• Comfort presenting and explaining animations, storyboards and designs to stakeholders
• Significant attention to detail and patience to work carefully and efficiently
• Outstanding work ethic, character, integrity, and professionalism
• Must be able to prioritize, multitask, and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to illustrate and storyboard
• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
