• Reports to the Manufacturing Industry Department Director
• Supervises the all projects civil works and electromechanical works under Kokeb Industries /Hana Mariam/.
• Plans, follow up organizes, leads, coordinates and controls all industry projects civil works and electromechanical works under Kokeb Industries /Hana Mariam/.
• Prepares the annual follow up and plan of the projects civil works and electromechanical works under Kokeb Industries /Hana Mariam/ industry in consultation with the ManufacturingIndustry Department Director.
• Implements general policies established by the Company as well the country.
• Plans and directs the project industry’s activities to achieve stated/agreed targets and standards for operational, financial, social performance, quality, and legislative adherence.
• Identifies opportunities and secure long term relationships with different stakeholders in the industry’s locality.
• Designs medium and short term goals, programs, and strategies of the projects and
• presents to the Manufacturing Industry Department; make continuous follow up of
• their implementation.
• Creates strong management teams by developing the necessary operational policies and procedures which are consistent with policies and directives issued by the corporate office.
• Develops and installs organizational system which helps in achievement of business
• targets and professional development of workers in the project.
• Prepares the project’s annual budget and presents it to the Manufacturing Industry
• Department for approval.
• Ensures the timely the availability of the necessary quantity & quality of human resource, financial resource, inputs, facilities, spare parts and accessories for the projects.
• Oversees the care and maintenance of all the project’s physical assets and facilities; establishes strong internal control system; makes immediate & appropriate actions based on audit findings.
• Ensures the design & implementation of capacity building work through trainings & education in the project.
• Directs the design and implementation of strategy for the continuous improvement and growth of the project/industry.
• Ensures the products of the project/industry fulfill the local and international quality standards i.e. customers/clients.
• Represents the project/industry before any third party or court or appoints an attorney.
• Submits periodical reports to the Manufacturing Industry Department on the overall operations of the project/industry.
• Undertakes any other similar activities assigned by the Manufacturing Industry Department.

Job Requirements

• BSc or MSc Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering  
• Minimum of 12/10 years experience in related position
• Basic computer application skill
• Human skill
• Analytical, report writing skill and trained in project management
