Our client in the tourism, hotel aggregator & franchising industry is looking for an active and proactive Tour Operation Manager that is willing to transform its services to the next level. If you are well experienced with marketing and tour operation, have what it takes to tackle new challenges in a new environment then this job is for you. 

Your key responsibilities will be:  

• Managing the tour operation and customer service
• Managing all tour and office operations
• Providing exceptional customer service 
• traveling either to uncover destinations or accompanying travelers
• Daily communicating with prospective customers, guests, and partners
• managing all aspects of travel operations including reservations, ticketing, travel coordination, and customer support
• overall Managing day-to-day operations
• Conducting training on service standards for employees
• Evaluate how latest technology trends can be leveraged on to improve productivity and innovation
• Maintain office operations and procedures

Requirements 

• Experience in managing and organizing a team
• have experience in the travel and tourism sector at all levels, (experience in tour guide, event organization, tour operation, marketing/promotion and working as a tour agent…)
• flexible in their work schedule and situation in general 
• Willing to travel either to uncover destinations, or accompanying travelers
• have a good sense of marketing in general, as well as digital means of promotions and pushing products and services
• Strong computer skills and Microsoft office 
• Excellent English writing and speaking skill Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Office management and event planning experience desirable
• Good interpersonal relationship, negotiation & Analytical skills.

Qualification and Experience

• BA Degree or Diploma in Tourism Management, Tour Operations Management, hospitality, travel, business management or relevant field.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Candidates with travel experience within different parts of Ethiopia
