Management Information System (MIS) Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and directing all computer-related activities for an organization. They determine the company’s information technology goals and implement computer systems to meet those goals. The purpose of this job is to manage and develop reliable business information through user friendly software applications that help to enhance the efficiency of users and maximize market share of the business.

Basic duties and responsibilities

• Plan, monitoring, analyzing and troubleshooting IT frameworks.
• Plan and procedures for accessing data, determine the appropriate levels of risk management, and create training objectives for relevant IT personnel.
• Implement ERP System and create an all-inclusive strategy for operation of a business’s information management systems.
• Develop budgets for equipment, software, and other technical tools according to an organization’s strategic goals.
• Provide expertise information management, including Sales and inventory, in order to support Strategic decisions.
• Create a dynamic system to keep and update information on key performance areas.
• Perform regular data validation to ensure all reported information to management is accurate and relevant.
• Evaluate the functionality of existing systems and how they can be better utilized by the staff and consulting the users.
• Automate documentation system to enable the organization to be managed against a clear set of defined deliverables and milestones.
• lead and assist the implementation of new technologies, including hardware systems, software, and servers.
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements

Qualification 

• MSc or BSc Degree in IT, Computer Science or related fields

Relevant work experience

• 2 Years for MSC Degree or 4 years for BSC Degree and above in senior managerial or related roles

Skills and behaviors

• Communication; both verbal and written
• Networking and conversation ability
• Operating highly/advanced technical computers with all sorts of software and other applications as required
• Knowledge on the basic scope and requirements of the company
• Considerable knowledge of management principles and techniques
