Purpose:

Under the supervision of AIT Manager and in alignment with the Area Sales Manager, undertakes the trade inspection activities to collect the necessary information about illicit cigarette business, prepare an action plan to engage the authorities such as Police, Trade and Industry Officers, Customs branch offices, Check point officers and others as may be appropriate to work on addressing the illicit business activities in his/her area of assignment.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

•  Gather information about illicit business from the market in the assigned territory and provide report to the line manager
• Develop an action plan to engage the authorities to conduct market operation to ensure seizure and distraction of the illegal cigarettes'.
• Coordinate AIT activities in the assigned territory in alignment with the AIT Manager and the Area Sales Manager/TMS to ensure continuity in the efforts to combat illicit business
• Organizes awareness creation trainings about fighting illicit trade in the assigned territory to ensure all stakeholders are made aware about the Illicit business in their locality
• Check and ensure NTE wholesalers do not engage and distribute illicit cigarettes.
• Provide weekly reports on AIT performed activities with the necessary supporting evidence to the AIT manager inline with the global reporting template
• Perform any other tasks given by the direct manager

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Management, Marketing, Police Science or related fields

work experience:

• 2 Years relevant experience

Skill:

• Fluent English language skill and MS Office confident user;
• 3 grade or higher driving license
