Job Title: Humanitarian Program Coordinator
Reporting To: Programme Manager
Base Location: Addis Ababa with frequent visit to field offices
Responsible For: Programme officers and Assistants
Liaises With: Managers Finance, Coordinators & Support Services Units

Islamic Relief Ethiopia (IRE) is operational in the Somali Regional State with a base office in Jigjiga, Hargelle, Elkere, Bare, GG and Dekasuftu, Afar Regional State; Ewa, Awra and Gulina; Oromia regional State, West Harergeye, Chiro and Meayso Woredas and an additional operational office in Addis Ababa. Islamic Relief Ethiopia is in pursuit to support and strengthen its operations, seeks to employ motivated, hardworking, and pro-active individuals to fill this position. The position is for Ethiopian nationality only.
1. Overall Responsibility
Under the supervision of the Programme Manager in Ethiopia, the Humanitarian Program Coordinator will be responsible for the vision, strategy, design, monitoring, and quality delivery of Emergency response programmes for IR Ethiopia. He/she shall ensure that emergency programme plans are in place and kept updated as per the objectives of the Country Strategic Plan; and that programme interventions and projects are implemented in line with the overall country Programme. The position also manages/oversees the programme growth and manages programme Team across all field offices.
