Job Description

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the supply of raw materials spare parts, machineries and accessories. The manager is responsible to manage the raw materials and chemicals store control and transactions, perform duties to support shipping and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting raw materials, maintaining records in AX and Excel, overseeing storage surplus inventory and property.

The manager shall play major role in effective production and distribution of goods and optimizing the logistics cost of the company through improving flexible and reactive supply chain system.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reduces costs and improving the flexibility and reactivity of the supply chain process
  • Primarily evaluates on the quality of the service offered to the client as well as the cost control throughout the supply chain.
  • Member of the management committee, the action is based on three axes:

        - The leadership of the teams in charge of the procurement and workflow operations.

       - The improvement of the management practices in order to achieve better performance.

  • The reporting and the analysis of the achievements to the management
  • Controls the department and is the interface between the sales, production, financial services, purchasing and logistics in order to take into account the requirements of these services and to optimize the global organization.
  • Works closely with the CEO for the activities of forecasting, planning, procurement, scheduling, internal and external logistics and transport
  • Responsible for the methodologies and tools of improving performance, the manager, thus, puts in place action plans to reduce the cost, time and inventory to better satisfy customers.
  • In consultation with the CEO, the manager decides the possible outsourcing or insourcing storage and transport for the company .
  • Standardize the work of inventory management to what the company requires.
  • Ensure optimal service level at all times Manage optimal stock levels , ensure lead times are observed , and required stock is available for operation at all times
  • Focus on continuous improvement in the department managed
  • Put measures in place to monitor and report product quality issues in a timely way.
  • Coordinate with various departments for market returns and quality blocked goods and take appropriate action .
  • Initiate improvement and action to prevent stock quality and quantity issues
  • Ensure effective communication between Raw Material and Chemical Store Other assignments as requested by CEO 

Job Requirements

Required Educational and Work Experience 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain and Distribution, Logistics Management or related fields
  • Project management
  • Understanding of e-business/e-procurement system
  • 6 and more than years of work experience in related responsibility in similar industry
