Our client is looking for HSE (Health Safety and Environment) Manager to join their team and work on all things safety. If you love tackling new challenges, working with professionals from different parts of the world, and have what it takes to build and maintain fruitful business relationships, this is the job for you. 

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Report to site manager
• Incident investigation, analysis and correction/prevention
• Overall HSE inspection management, hazard zones safety management; high risky activity management, emergency response and preparedness management
•  Safety data collection, reporting and analysis regularly
• Compliance with PRC regulations and the company’s core ideologies, policies/guidelines
• Join site’s safety committee and attend relevant activities
• Compliance with business principles
• Coordinate with client and our subcontractor erection company to HSE operation smoothly
• Attend customers' regular HSE meetings
• Communicate with VHS home office HSE manager, submit necessary report/memo/ letter to relevant departments
• Prevention and control of Covid 19 and typical local epidemic situation
• Other necessary works required by site manager

Requirements 

• BSc Degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Health and Safety or related field
• High sense of responsibility and accountability
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Can read, write and speak English
•  More than 5 years’ working experience in HSE familiar with ISO 14001 and OHS (Occupational health safety) 18001
• Proactive, willing to learn and cooperate as a team player
