• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Payment applied to correct accounts receivable invoice.
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data.
• Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted, for and properly posted.
• Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues.
• Payment supporting documentation matches payment posted to accounts receivable.
• Review all contract signed, dated, and retained on file in accordance with Hyatt policy.
• Prepare All tax exemption adjustments are supported by a scanned copy of proof of tax exemption
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (iScala and opera) preferable.
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of BA Degree in Accounting, Financial Management or a related fields
• Minimum 2 years work experience as an Accounts Receivable in a brand hotel.
• Experience with accounting software (iScala and opera )
• Fluent in English and Amharic (writing, speaking, listening) 
• Good customer service, communications and interpersonal skills are necessary.
