Human Resource Administrator

Our client in the hospitality industry is looking for an active and proactive HR Administrator candidate that is willing to transform its services to the next level. If you are experienced with HR, have what it takes to tackle new challenges in a new environment then this job is for you. 

Job Overview

Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s overall business strategy Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department and other departments of the company. Developing HR department goals, objectives, and systems, Continuously training company personnel

Your key responsibilities will be:  

• Implementing and revising the company’s compensation program
• Developing, analyzing and updating the company’s evaluation program, company’s salary budget, etc…
• Maintaining a positive work environment for employees; and most importantly, a positive

place of accommodation and service for the company’s customers (tenants, hotel guests, etc.)

• Overseeing recruitment efforts for all personnel, Conducting new employee orientations and employee relations counseling
• Conduct management and terminations as per the Ethiopian labor law
• Ensuring that all employees have TIN Numbers, pension etc… and payments are paid to the appropriate government body
• Work on new policies, approaches, and procedures

Requirements:

• BA degree in relevant fields
• 2 - 6 years of proven work experience as HR Administration or other HR Supervision role and 
• In-depth knowledge of local labor law and HR best practices
• people oriented, results driven and needs to have knowledge of HR systems and databases and able to develop HR strategy and ensure implementation
• Needs to have negotiation, presentation and leadership skills
• Able to build and effectively manage employee relationships at all levels of the company
• knowledge of local labor law, HR systems, databases and able to lead multiple employees- Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply
• Preferred to have HR Management/administration experience in the hospitality industry.…
