Cashier/Accountant
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Job Responsibility #1: cash service
- Receives cash and checques on a pre numbered Cash Receipt Voucher of the organization;
- Deposits collected money in the bank intact and submits the Receipt, and bank deposit slip to accounts;
- Maintains a petty cash and register book and makes payment against written orders or authorizations;
- Confirms that petty cash payment voucher and supporting documents are complete before effecting payments;
- Follows-up the settlement of temporary advance payments effected with “Suspense Vouchers” and reports to the supervisor if there are unsettled suspense vouchers;
- Effects payment of payroll to NEP+ employees;
- Obtains receipts and reconciles cash balance with records, clears all advances taken by staff and updates all records on file;
- Requests for the replenishment of the petty cash when it reaches the minimum limit;
- Performs other incidental duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
- Diploma (Level 3) in Accounting or related
EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS:
- Willingness to work under pressure;
- Proficient in computer skills (MS word, Excel);
- Good interpersonal and communication ability.
