Under the supervision of the Group Manufacturing Excellence Manager, the Manufacturing Excellence Coordinator is responsible and accountable for the effective planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of Manufacturing Excellence and other Improvement initiatives, He/ She works closely with the core factory functions, including production quality, engineering to ensure the sites manufacturing processes operate efficiently with “Zero Loss” concept.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support production team in identifying, verifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvement and process re-engineering opportunities through the creation of Plans and the alignment of resources with plant Manager.
• Determining priority areas for MANEX focus through Audits.
• Drives improvements projects and WCM activities.
• Ensure loss data is recorded to standard through analysis and auditing;
• Drive effective problem solving and ensures that problem solving tools are understood and used correctly.
• Evaluate improvement opportunities and focus areas for resources;
• Coach, mentor and guide operational teams on the implementation of the Manufacturing Excellence Activities.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in the factory and ensure full compliance to it by all operational team.
• Organize training for all the operational teams in order to close the skill gap.
• Attends plant's monthly, weekly management review meetings and other business activities in order to achieve plant’s & corporate objective, identifying areas we can win, and reduce the cost of managing the factory.
• Any other duties which may be assigned on time-to-time basis, as per the administrative policies of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• BSc Degree in Engineering ,Science or relevant equivalent qualification
• Formal Training in WCM
• Prior responsibility for a multi-shift production facility in FMCG advantageous

Experience:

• 5+years’ experience in Production, Process, or Manufacturing role.
