Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage Radio Access Networks – Design and Optimization;
- In charge for Radio Network dimensioning & Link Budgets, coverage planning and capacity planning;
- Handle Frequency/Scrambling Code/PCI and Neighbor Planning;
- Post Integration performance validation and drive testing & analysis;
- Assist in the development of a service proposal and participate in knowledge sharing activities;
- Collect and document customer requirements and identify add-on sales opportunities;
- Implement VoLTE E2E performance troubleshooting with the focus on audio gap optimization where applicable;
- Produce documented engineering methods, procedures and present to the customer;
- Provide technical support in customer discussion, presentations;
- Handle 2G, 3G, and LTE parameter consistency checks tuning and optimization to improve throughput, accessibility, retainability, mobility, etc.;
- Handling customer complaints and providing solutions with proper explanation reports;
- Whole Network parameter audit and to provide recommendations to sort-out inconsistencies;
- Recommend Necessary feature implementation and parameters settings to better data services;
- Engagement with CxO level at customer end to present project updates, strategic direction, risks, and recommendations for Network improvement programs;
- Drive changes in the methods, processes, and guidelines within the customer organization or internally;
- Act as a leader and mentor in day to day operations to provide insights for less experienced colleagues;
- Engagement with sales and accounts teams to Drive add-on sales and new business opportunities during the entire process to contribute to increased sales volumes;
- Implement, fine-tune, and benchmark features implemented into the network in line with customer presentation and expectations.
Requirements
Academic qualification
- Degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Competence in advanced feature trials and implementation for 2G,3G, and LTE with the introduction of 5G
- Experience in fibre, microwave and radio networks
Work Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar industry
Additional qualifications
- Good Command of English, both writing and speaking;
- Ability to work in a team and individually;
- Well-organized and ethical work culture
- Team-management experience an asset
