We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for Enterprise Partner Support Manager within the Enterprise Business Unit Function in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.

Detailed Description

Reporting to Executive Head, Indirect Sales, the role holder will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing channel partner sales processes, projects & programs required to enable an efficient and effective operating model and optimize channel initiatives.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing the capacity of the Enterprise Partners to deliver against set objectives by: researching, designing, developing, facilitating and evaluating the programs for the dealers and partners; as well as developing programs to improve channel partner performance and standards

 Job Responsibilities

  • Develop define, and implement strategies of identifying, attracting, onboarding, and retaining partners to resell Safaricom Enterprise products
  • Develop and implement policies & procedures for channel partner operations that will increase efficiency and optimization of the sales & retention team.
  • Ensure 100% management of systems, process and procedures that facilitate partner management.
  • Ensure highest level of integrity especially in dealing with dealers through reinforcing high ethical and compliance standards in partner support process
  • Monthly and quarterly channel partner performance monitoring and feedback to ensure timely remedial measures are taken in line with the set guidelines.
  • Foster, grow, and maintain strong relationships with channel partners to retain and grow commitment to promoting the Enterprise portfolio
  • Collaboratively establish structured rollout plans whenever there’s a change in channel partner strategy and/or operating model
  • Implement the point of contact to identify barriers and develop strategies to ensure success as specified in channel partner goals
  • Provide outreach to channel partners on lifecycle implementation activities such as introductory phone calls, advising partners about the enterprise product portfolio, and sending follow up welcome emails to new partners
  • Gather partners’ technical requirements and feedback on products, channel to Sales, Product Management and Support teams.
  • Support and drive efficiencies with the salesforce and other internal tools used for supporting the channel partners
  • Create a feedback loop to ensure channel partner satisfaction
  • Develop productive working relationships with all stakeholders and engages regularly in both formal and informal capacities to stay abreast of current and future channel partner needs.
  • Provide oversight, engagement, and reporting, both internal and external, for channel partner initiatives, needs, and outstanding issues.
  • Continuously monitor revenue, product uptake and support incidents to identify areas of risk and/or concern.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in a Business related field.
  • Post graduate certification in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage.
  • Team player, strong influence and relationship management
  • Ability to engage and influence at all levels of management, internally and externally.
  • Has worked in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and must have good problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed presentation skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (articulate) coupled with good listening and critical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to create and develop efficient processes.
  • Project management skills
