Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identifying and solving any problem that arises with computer networks and systems;
- Manages and coordinates all IT-related matters including data, security, computer hardware and software;
- Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization;
- Make sure antivirus software is installed in all machines and ensure it is updated;
- Ensure the accuracy of the system and report if there is any malfunction
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems are up to the standards;
- Trouble-shoots and solves problems related to hardware, software, and network problems
- Ensure timely maintenance and updates are conducted promptly
- Provide the necessary IT and Desk support for all project teams as requested;
- Generate daily, monthly and any required reports as requested
- Other tasks instructed by supervisor
Requirements
Academic qualification
- BSc degree in Information Technology (IT)
Additional qualifications
- Self-motivated, result-oriented and well-organized;
- Knowledge of database installation and management;
- knowledge in VMWare, Oracle Database and Linux system is an advantage.
- Familiar with Android programming is also a distinct advantage but not a requirement;
- Familiar with web publishing
Years of experience:
- BSc Degree and 5+ years of experience in Information Technology
