Job description for the Project Coordinator

Job Title: Project coordinator, Construction related experience is not acceptable

Reports to Head, Programme.

Desired qualities

• Strong capacity in project follow up, Monitoring and evaluation(M&E) and training, the officer should be. 

1. Able to follow up with different projects.
2. Able to organize and multitask to attain deliverables on time.
3. Able to support in monitoring and reporting of project results. 
4. Able to coordinate with project staff, clients and different stakeholders.
5. Able to deliver trainings. 
6. Work with the relevant M&E systems and ensure that filing processes are in place.
7. Keep track and report on program progress and provide technical support to partners and staff in the project activities.
8. Ability to Manage data collection and ensure data quality standards are applied and procedures are followed.

• Strong collaborator: ability to work with every department to streamline M&E focus, needs and effectiveness. Strong communication skills, statistical skills, ability to work with a team are key to the role for this person.
• Advanced skills in use of computer for PowerPoint presentations, excel, Ms word and outlook.
• Presentation /facilitation skills: Ability to train, generate reports & facilitate meetings. 
• Analytical skills- Up to date knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. 
• Strong capacity and self-drive: Self-starter and self-leadership are key strength required for the role.

Work experience required

• Minimum of 4 years work related experience and above. 

Qualification requirements

• First level university degree in social studies – Business administration, Management, Statistics, Economics or related field. PMP certification is an advantage.
