Follow up on all Foreign Purchase cases.
Responsible for loading unloading container.
Responsible in insurance, bank, customs and transport processing of imported items.
Develop and implement cost saving measures, i.e., Zero demurrage.
Review and identify the customs documentation requirements.
Ensure that all documents called for by authorities are submitted promptly to ensure speedy clearance of goods.
Verifying those orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for delivery against documents
Arrange for transportation, warehousing or product distribution of imported goods
Advise foreign staff on import and export restrictions, tariff systems, insurance
requirements and all other customs related matters.
Provide regular and accurate reports to the procurement officer on all cleared
cargo and status of outstanding goods for clearance
Keep records of all goods shipped, received, and stored.
Complies with company and safety policies, rules and regulations, standard operation
procedures and confidentiality policy.
Report generation and submission on daily, weekly and monthly base.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management, Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Management, Business Administration or related fields with two (2) years of experience.
