About Hill Bottom Real Estate Development

The idea to establish and develop Hill Bottom Recreation Center was conceived in 1991 while we were serving the UNHCR in Uganda. In 2007 we established a community recreation center that delivers a safe and relaxing sanctuary for the residents of Addis Ababa.

Being inspired by one of our favorite old-school Ethiopian songs, Gara Sir New Betish, we aptly named our dream center, Hill Bottom.

The ever increasing influx of the younger community from the crowded urban center to the Ayat area inspired us to think and develop beyond our existing sports and health facilities into luxury middle-class apartments at the Hill bottom compound to fit the modern lifestyle combined with ranges of health and sports facilities creating a village of its own.

Job Brief

We are currently looking for an Office Assistant to join our growing team. If you’re an enthusiastic, outgoing, and self-organized individual, our company can be the perfect place for you to continue your career path and expand your knowledge. Office Assistant Responsibilities

  •  Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence
  • Acting as the first point of contact.
  • Prepare a contract agreement and Booking form.
  • Managing diaries and organizing meetings and appointments, often controlling the sales supervisor's access.
  • Reminding the Sales Supervisor of important tasks and deadlines.
  • Managing databases and filing systems.
  • Sorting and sending mail
  • Writing memoranda, reports, letters, and other items
  • Maintaining files and dealing with other administrative support tasks
  • Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering new ones as necessitated
  • Completing banking transactions and carrying out basic bookkeeping
  • Answering phone calls and taking messages
  • Scheduling meetings and managing calendars
  • Welcoming visitors to the office
  • Providing visitors with information
  • Resolving office-related issues

Job Requirements

Qualification and Requirements

  • 1 year of relevant experience in an office environment, preferably in an administrative position
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent writing skills – strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Self-organization and Customer service
  • Paying attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Spreadsheets, etc.)
