Main duties & Responsibilities

• Works / Serves as bridge between Import Division and Finance Department on cost related matters.
• Ensures the import and logistic costs are incompliance of Financial Management policy of company.
• Collect, organize import documents and prepare the summery of costs;
• Follow and collect and organize Import documentation appropriately; 
• Follows the Customs & cargo clearance procedure with assigned logistic personnel and update the information for decision makers;
• Identify & control the appropriate cost of import items.
• Prepare and update all related costs registers and accounting tables;
• Works all related (import & logistics) costs accounting in accordance of principles & company financial policy requirement;
• Prepare periodic report as scheduled by the Division manager; 
• Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of import process and handling procedures (like the formalities and requirement of Banks & insurances)
• Knowledge of Microsoft office package, specific on excel & word is mandatorily.
• BA Degree in supply chain Mgt., Accounting, Management, Business Administration, and on other related Social science field of studies.
• Having both Financial - cost Accounting and Import Procedure- knowledge are very important.

Experience:

• One to two years of work experience in a similar works position is mandatory.
•  Customer oriented, problem solving and analytical skills, Attention to Detail, punctuality & Deadline-Oriented,
• Confidentiality, honesty, quality of work is from very important skills; Company principled works.
• Skill in writing and speaking of English and Amharic languages
• Ability to function well in team-oriented environment, with no close supervision
• Experience from recognized Business Company engaged in Technology (ICT) is advantageous.
