Technical Responsibilities

• Prepares annual and quarterly work plan and get approval from the her/his direct supervisor;
• Monitors all warehouse activities including, receiving, order filling, shipping, and inventory control;
• Oversees whether the received consignments are recorded in stock recording and transaction formats by the store keeper;
• Manages the transportation of products to and from the warehouse;
• Oversees whether the products are stored as per good storage practices;
• Leads the annual, periodic and surprise physical counts of products in the warehouse; reconcile discrepancies with the store keeper and finance manager;
• Follows whether the products are properly delivered to the purchasers;
• Oversees all activities related to product promotion and marketing;
• Represents company at trade/professional association meetings to promote product;
• Reports weekly and monthly performances to the her/his direct supervisor;
• Properly records and file all documents which are required by stakeholders;
• Implement health and safety procedures and ensure standards are met;
• Performs any other duties reasonably within his/her capabilities as assigned

Team Management and Development

• Ensure team working and knowledge sharing are facilitated. 
• Ensures all team members are developed, motivated and engaged so as to continuously improve work performances.
• Ensure timely performance appraisal are conducted for the team members working in the department.
• Coach and mentor team members who are directly reporting.  

Job Requirements

Education

• MSc/BSc in Pharmacy

Experience

• Five/Six years of relevant experience

Skills, Attitudes and Attributes

• Knowledge of various rules and regulations in importing and warehousing of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies;
• Strong knowledge of family planning and sexual reproductive services;
• Excellent commend of written and spoken English is essential;
• Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Peachtree;
• Interpersonal communication & negotiation skills;
• Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines;
• Strong working knowledge of business practices;
• Supervision skills –ability to manage teams;
• Analytical skills;
