Soufflet has started its operation in Ethiopia in 2017 in the barley supply chain and has commissioned its malt factory in Addis Ababa in April 2021.

Soufflet aims to source/buy 100% of its raw material locally which represents 80 000 tons per year.

Inorder to have a smooth IT operations Soufflet Malt Ethiopia SC wnated to hire its IT Support Manager.

CORE MISSION 

To direct and control the development, implementation and maintenance of the company’s information technology systems to support the business objectives of the company.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Implement and apply the Group policies (provided guidelines) on his perimeter (computer, printer, smartphone, analogic/TOIP telephony and mobile)
• Fulfill Group processes and guidelines to perform all steps (procurement, deployment, maintenance)
• Assist and help local users with their problems and demands (Followed in Remedy Force)
• Manage relationship with local suppliers
• Manage all IT information in collaborative tool (Sharepoint, Teams), and
• Inventories of equipment and software,
• Maintenance contracts,
• Providers contracts,
• Availabilities, public holidays,
• Report and escalate to regional IT and/or central IT team (FR), and provide a monthly report in english based on a template

·       Oversee IT planning and implementation to ensure systems, equipment, network and communication capacity is meeting existing and future requirements.

•     Ensure efficiency of network infrastructure.
•   Oversee infrastructure, security and network operations and costing and ensure their compliance with the preset budget
• Oversee upgrade plans of implemented equipment, hardware, and software
• Oversee system administration operations
• Supervise back up operations to ensure their timely execution
• Ensure high performance of installed systems, devices and networks
• Make sure that IT software and equipment are upgraded periodically
• Ensure efficient resolution of IT related issues/requests within performance targets
• Develop and implement an information technology strategy to support the financial and business objectives of the company.
• Develop appropriate computerized information systems to meet the needs of managers and staff.
• Direct and control the staff of the department to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and that they carry out their responsibilities to the required standard.
• Establish and maintain all necessary information technology procedures and ensure that all systems are supported by the necessary documentation and manuals.

Job Requirements

Qualification: BSC in Computer Science or related fields

 Experience: at least 5 years’ experience in the design, development and implementation of information technology systems.
