Job Description
Development Expertise Center (DEC) is a National Civil Society Organization (CSO) aspires to see all marginalized children properly fostered. The organization has four major programe areas; Child Development, Gender and Life Skill Development Skills and Entrepreneurship Development and Lobby and Advocacy. DEC actively works in three National Regional States and one city administration of Ethiopia namely Amhara, Afar and Oromia and Addis Ababa City Administration. DEC would like to recruit on the following position:
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create operational data management systems to enable effective analysis and monitoring including data quality control protocols and standards for validation and sharing of data;
- Propose solutions to improve the current Information System and switch to a better and more stable system.
- Implement and regularly update the Information Management Strategy and the dissemination Plan for information management related products
- Ensure web site and web server functionality and efficiency
- Make sure hardware and software are functioning
- Identify and obtain the needed data and information elements required to produce analysis and information products;
- Support the PMEL Team in different activities such as development of forms and survey databases as needed
Required No: Jara/Woldia 1 and Debrebrehan 1
Job Requirements
Educational Background
- BA IT and minimum 2 year work experience
Additional Skill
- Strong organizational skills; Confident personality to properly negotiate with others
