Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage staff planning, recruitment, induction, development, appraisal and performance management and contract termination are in line with HR policies and procedures;
  • Coordinates all HR administration tasks including onboarding, induction staff benefit and payroll;
  • Shortlist and screen applications as per the requirement set for the position including conducting of background and reference check;
  • Ensure staff insurance, pension and other requirements are fulfilled on a timely manner;
  • Conduct training need assessment and request budget for implementation;
  • Work closely with different departments to ensure the provision of efficient and cost-effective operational services;
  • Ensure that staff policies and procedures/policies, are in place and adhere proficiently;
  • Ensure the termination and clearance process of staffs is handled in a proper manner;
  • Promote a safe, supportive and participatory working culture as per the company’s values;
  • Prepare an assessment report of an exit interview for a management utilization;
  • Build up an effective support functions (HR, Finance, IT, Data Management. etc.) to enable the efficient delivery of services;
  • Coordinates activities such as special events, meetings, travel, training and staff gathering/retreat;
  • Handles personnel grievances and undertakes the necessary investigations;
  • Supervises and verifies the preparation of personnel (Payroll) actions forms for appointment, promotion recruitment, transfer, and related personnel measures
  • Perform other duties assigned and delegated by the General Manager

Requirements

Academic qualification

  • BA/MBA in Management/Human Resource or related fields

Additional qualifications

  • Proficiency in English, both writing and speaking is essential
  • Excellent inter and Intra-personal communication skill
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment;

Years of experience:

  • 5+ years proven work experience in merchandising sector is advantageous
