Key task
Intensifying public relations and information offers on agricultural mechanisation for farmers and decision-makers , including the organization of field days with machine demonstrations
Name of the project: Agricultural Mechanisation for Smallholder Farmers in Ethiopia
Duration of the assignment: 24 months of implementation, starting around August 2022
Area of implementation: Amhara / Oromia / Souther Nations, Nationalities and People’s Regional State (SNNPRS)
Project Purpose: Improve the conditions for the spread of agricultural mechanization

Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Postgraduate university degree in Public Relations Management or a similar field with specialisation in the field of agriculture
- C1 proficiency level in English, in Amharic and Oromifa
- General professional experience: 8 years of professional experience in the agricultural development sector;
- Specific professional experience : 3 years for PR work related to agriculture and experience in advertising agricultural products and track record for work with farmer organisations and with the private sector and experienced in working in the rural environment;
