Job Title: Social Worker

Tamra for Social Development Organization (TSD) is an indigenous Civil Society Organization which was established 24 years back, by 10 visionary youth, to fight the pandemic of HIV/AIDS and ASRH problem. Since 2006, TSD was registered by the concerned government body of FDRE and re-registered for the second time by the ASCO since May 2019. Currently, TSD would like to seek professional and competent staff for the project offices in the towns mentioned below. Hence, interested and competent professionals can apply for the following vacancies:

Required number: One (1) for each town

Age: Below 29

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Qualification: BA/B.Sc Degree in Community development, gender and development, psychology, sociology and other related fields.
  • Required Experience: 2 and above years of experience as social worker, community mobilizer, community outreach worker or grass root level community worker.
  • Voluntary service is an added value.

Technical Competence for both positions:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skill.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and support others in their work.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of English and good knowledge of local language.
