Job Objective

Our Finance department in Ethiopia is responsible for all finance related tasks of our location Red Fox Ethiopia PLC. The Finance Manager assures that financial and accounting tasks are planned and executed according to the company expectations. 

Your Tasks and responsibilities

The Finance Manager is responsible for the overall management of a team of 7 employees. The role includes following specifics:

• Preparation of annual and strategic financial plan.
• Monitoring, Evaluation and Execution of the following day to day activities
• Monthly and Annual Accounts Closing & Reporting
• Liaising with banks and other external concerned bodies
• Maintenance of accounts and financial records       
• Proper utilization of company asset
• Human resource management/development

Job Requirements

Your Profile

• MBA/ BA in Finance / Accounting , Certified Accountant,
• At least 10 years of solid experience in a disciplined international finance and accounting environment, out of which more than 5 a years in a managerial position(s).
• Preferred work experience in Horticulture/Floriculture sector
• Very good in English language (written and oral)
• Analytical know-how involving strategic thinking, collaboration and leadership, and performance-driven results
• Advanced ERP system, financial system, excel computer skills
• Accounting software application skills
• IFRS application skills
• Skills in identifying, analyzing and solving problems.
• People management skill
• Pro-active and team player
• Strong company financial policies enforcement discipline
