Job Summary: -

To support the Trade Marketing Manager in the planning, execution and evaluation of trade/customer marketing programs and brand merchandising programs across the brands portfolio in the Region, to deliver annual portfolio and brand objectives and targets on budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Trade Marketing Manager and Sales team with the implementation of customer loyalty programs.
• Assist the Promotions & Events Execution team with the execution of trade/customer marketing activities and events in the Region.
• Assist the Trade Marketing Manager with the production of annual merchandising plans by brand and sales channel. 
• Follow merchandising monitoring processes as directed by the Trade Marketing Manager and compile data and information for use in activity evaluations, so that learnings are captured for future merchandising planning.
• Assist the Trade Marketing Manager and Sales team in monitoring and reporting on the impact of pricing decisions and promotions in the Region
• produce reports as directed by the Trade Marketing Manager by Monitoring competitor activities in the Region through regular market visits, research and other data.
• Assist the Trade Marketing Manager in preparing accruals and expenditure forecasts.
• Assist the Marketing team in managing the performance of third-party agencies and suppliers used by the Marketing function by collecting information for performance reviews as required.
• Carry out other tasks and related duties not specified in the above responsibilities, as assigned by the line manager (Trade Marketing Manager).

Job Requirements

Required Qualification & Experience

• BA Degree in Marketing, sales and Business Management
• 4 years’ working experience in either the Sales or Marketing departments of a reputable company, ideally FMCG; or with a marketing agency which has handled the execution of consumer and customer marketing activities for FMCG companies.

Key competency & Behavioral Skill

• Planning and execution of below-the-line marketing activities
• Planning, execution and evaluation of brand merchandising programs
• Management of brand activity execution through third-party agencies and suppliers
• Compilation of brand and market data
• Budget management and reporting
