Job Description

Purpose of the job

Storekeeper Head Assists FGS & Logistics Head in all aspect on the flow of empty and full products between Factory to Agents, Agents to Factory and Transfer to site and Receiving from sites of both Keg and bottle activity, CO2 Cylinder of his/her site.

He/she is responsible of any logistic warehouses in the site: empty, FGS, Packaging Center, Export Center, Quarantine, Breakage (if any)

His objective is to ensure a steady supply of the FGS warehouse sites avoiding shortages and minimizing the costs, especially in terms of daily activity.

He is also responsible to establish a daily report related on FGS activity mentioned on the below Duties and responsibilities.

He should be at least 90% of his/her time dedicated to the field.

Main duties & responsibilities

  • Logistics
  • Logistics includes the determination of loading sequence of trucks,
  •  Follow-up of those who are in transit
  • Daily communications with FGS and Logistics Head to ensure the optimum delivery program for every working day. Such communications are usually done at morning time and accordingly the loading and unloading sequences will respect the agreed upon decision.
  •  Ensure the reception of daily production program in advance so that he/she can determine the delivery schedules and make the empties ready for bottling.

·      Stock control

  • Ensure proper handling of the Full and Empty containers
  • Ensure receiving and issuance of FGS in proper manner
  • Ensure the availability of empty container as per the daily requirement
  • Present a summarized report of the daily transactions with the final balances.
  • Check the correctness of these summaries and assures that the balances at the end of the day reflect actual situation.
  • Aware of the arrival of empties and authorize the loading of full on the basis of his/her prior communications with sales and financer (Sales order + payment)
  • All reports and Communications related to FGS must be prepared by him/her. Every day, before 8AM, he/she communicates a report containing:
  • Inventory of Full and Empty, per brand, per type
  • Controls on the Empty
  • Received quantities by naming each sender
  • Detailed issued items by naming each receiver
  • Daily demand and arrived agent in detail
  • Data fulfilling in the SLMS application and follow up of Trucks status for transfer on the system.
  • He/She has also to communicate twice or more a day on the inventory of his/her site with hierarchy.

Manpower control and workers administration

The StoreKeeper Head is the first appraiser of all employees in the section.

  • Follow loading and unloading activity
  • follow and evaluate the performance of each worker. Of course, he/she receives and analyses the opinion that the storekeepers have towards each employee
  • controls also the absence, behavior and motivation of the employees at work
  • Prepare Annual leave program and work shift
  • Ensures employees Uniform and safety availability and used on the proper place and time (with the proper information
  • Controls the work of the team by any way: proposed and apply any controls in agreement with the hierarchy
  • He/she is responsible of the proper respect of all procedures by the logistic team on the field (including the respect of timetable for the shift)
  • He/She also performs other company duties assigned to him by his/her immediate Supervisors

Job Requirements

  • B.A. Degree/ diploma in Warehouse/Logistics/Business Administration
  • Minimum of 4 years for Degree and 6 years Work experience in warehouse management, container administration in similar industry
  • XL and XL knowledge should be appreciated
