Job Responsibilities

  • Expand and strengthen our presence in projects through structured follow up and mapping process to ensure increasing securing hit rate.
  • Introduce, promote and sell Decorative products directly to new & existing project customers and allocated geographical territories through regular visits to maintain good relationship and obtain market information.
  • Follow-up on projects within allocated geographical territories and ensure that our products and paint system are used and to achieve sales budget.
  • Build data base and good relations with project clients, Architects, Interior designers, painters, main and sub-contractors, and consultants.
  • Capitalize on specification concept to enforce Jotun position as preferred partner in projects paint industry through getting Jotun products approved by project consultant and owner to add value to all project stake holders.
  • Securing large and mega projects and –when possible- utilize distribution network in the supplying process to awarded projects.
  • Follow up collection to ensure customer payment is received within agreed term to achieve budgeted days outstanding.

Main Tasks

  • Plan and perform daily customer visits and sales activities.
  • Plan and create new customers by frequent follow up and mapping process.
  • Secure new projects and handle the projects’ quotations, samples, mock-ups, technical visits, and liaise with Technical Service team for product complaint handling.
  • Organize with Technical Service team in preparation of projects’ application method of statements.
  • Co-ordinate with Customer Service, Laboratory, Technical Service, financial and credit departments to ensure timely delivery and good customer service.
  • Maintain good relationship and service with existing contractors & attending to customer’s complaints.
  • Approach new projects and coordinate best supply scenario utilizing dealer’s network when possible.
  • Monitor ageing regularly to ensure collection is received on time
  • Create monthly sales and collection reports
  • Create, maintain and active use of CRM by registering all projects information and activities regularly.
  • Prepare all projects technical and commercial offers using JOTSPEC on CRM.
  • Implementing and participate in project related Marketing activities.

Job Requirements

Educational Background

  • BA in Business Management or related field

Experience

  • 3-4 years in Sales
  • Preferably worked in a B2B sales environment
