Duties and Responsibilities

• Transport salespersons to their destinations in a timely and safe manner;

• Loading, transporting and delivering items to clients in a safe, timely manner.

• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.

• Signing sales contracts, taking purchase orders, and collecting payments;

• Assisting with loading and unloading items from and to vehicles.

• Delivering purchase orders and informing existing customers of new products;

• Maintaining sales and delivery records, as well as meeting sales targets;

• Liaising with other departments to ensure optimal customer services;

• Ensure proper and timely maintenance of assigned vehicles;

• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.

• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.

• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules

• Ensure timely and accurate handover of vehicles whenever required;

• Performing basic van maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, and gas and oil levels;

• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.

• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services;

• Preventing damage to the delivery van and the company products being transported;

• Maintain vehicle logs and ensure vehicles are fully equipped with required documents and supplies, including first aid kits and fire extinguishers;

• Accepting payments for delivered items.

• Other tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements

• Exceptional ability in meeting sales targets.

• Extensive experience in identifying new customers and negotiating deals

• Working knowledge of basic van maintenance.

• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and laws.

• Strong communication, time management and customer service skills.

• Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods.

• Attention to detail

Job Requirements

Academic qualification

• 12th Grade per old curriculum/10th complete per new educational policy with a minimum of 3rd Grade (Dry level 1) Driving License

• Age 25+

• Certified for Safety driving skill is a plus

Additional qualifications

Years of experience: Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in a similar field

Salary: Negotiable plus performance based sales commission
