Detailed Description
Reporting to Senior Specialist Customer Value Management (CVM), the data analytics developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, & supporting the data mart for the CVM (Customer Value Management) platform.
Job Responsibilities
- Data modelling, designing and supporting data storage in the data mart.
- Perform various operations on data including validation, cleansing and transformations to generate useful information.
- Develop PLSQL / SQL procedures for data extraction, manipulation and reporting.
- Perform query optimization, query profiling and utilize query performance monitoring tools and techniques.
- Develop and utilize advanced analytics to enable the business to make data-driven decisions
- Provide reporting and analytical support of the CVM data mart to the business units
- Assist with data governance and data quality management.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in computer science or equivalent practical experience
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in data modelling, designing and supporting data storage in relational databases
- At least 2 years of Experience in developing data pipelines or extract transform load jobs
- At least 2 years of experience with relational databases, including Oracle and MSSQL
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB
- Coding experience using Java/python/R/SQL/ PLSQL
- Experience in collecting, storing, processing and analyzing large volumes of data.
- Proficient understanding of databases at the logical, physical, and conceptual levels.
- Understanding of big data technologies
