We are pleased to announce the vacancy for Assistant-Front Office within the HR Function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.

Detailed Description

Reporting to Property and Facilities Lead, the position holder shall provide professional reception services in a manner consistent with business’ corporate image and front office procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all visitors are attended to in a fast and efficient manner; verify the reasons of their visit, authorizing access into the building direct them to the correct locations.
  • Fulfill all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety.
  • Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail.
  •  Follow up with the relevant departments /individuals if their visitors are not attended to promptly.
  • Take responsibility of housekeeping at the reception and ensure flower arrangements are changed weekly
  • Provide a message pad for visitors to write messages to staff who are not available.
  • Assortment of reading materials should be made available and kept tidy at reception at all times
  • Keep correct records on log books and manage the visitors’ helpdesk.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • A degree in Business administration/social sciences/business administration/front office.
  • 3 years’ experience in administration/front office in a busy organization.
  • Computer literate with a certificate in MS Office or a proven hands on working knowledge with MS office applications
  • Fully proficient in front office services management
  • Have the proven ability to work and deliver under pressure, pay attention to detail and follow up on issues until they are resolved;
  • Focused individual who possesses excellent analytical skills, is dynamic, innovative and creative;
  • Excellent communication skills, high level of integrity and honesty
  • A highly organized, conscientious and detail oriented individual
