Job Description
- Ensure the smooth operation of the Finance Department by supervising the daily works of the sub-ordinates.
- Coordinate with the external CPA for timely filing of accounting and tax returns and reports, make sure KELP fully complied with relevant legal obligations.
- Review and approve journals and vouchers prepared by sub-ordinates, ensure those supported with proper documentation/supporting evidence.
- Ensure the journals and vouchers are properly recorded in the Kingdee K3 Accounting/ERP system.
- Arrange/Perform stock-take of Work in Progress (WIP) materials in workshop
- Perform/Review calculation of Cost of Production and assign cost to finished goods.
- Ensure the monthly report can be completed on time and submitted to head office.
- Arrange/Perform fixed assets stock-take periodically and to update the fixed assets register in Kingdee K3 Accounting/ERP system.
- Train new staff on how to use Kingdee K3 Accounting/ERP system
- Explore ways to improve operation flows (e.g. how to simply the calculation of the Cost of Production)
- Perform ad hoc tasks as and when required
Job Requirement
- Proper accounting knowledge and preferably with relevant accounting qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience for the position of Finance Supervisor/Manager and two years for the position of Accountant
- Six days work week
- Working in Adama office, and occasionally work in Addis Ababa office if needed.
- Fluent English written and verbal communication skills
Salary : Negotiable (Remuneration package will be commensurate with experience)
