Essential Function

• Post and authorize transactions based on authorization limits set 
• Prepare all tax and pension payments and reports.
• Maintain fixed asset and stock records.
• Prepare monthly head office returns, and necessary financial reports.
• Prepare monthly ageing of suspense accounts, depreciation and amortization expenses, rent, and other accounts.
• Originate the opening of general and subsidiary ledger accounts.
•  Report un-reconciled items identified during the preparation of the reconciliation and forward them to the Manager for resolution.
• Follow-up the settlement of all outstanding items on reconciliation statements through communication with responsible persons and various units of the Bank and,
•  Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• BA in Accounting, Banking & finance, Accounting & finance, Business Administration, Management, or other related fields.
• Experience Three/3 years of experience in banking industry, of which at least 1 year as a Junior Finance Officer.
