We would like to advertise for the following position:

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a competent Construction Foreman to coordinate operations and oversee workers at construction sites. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project.

• Ensuring that work on telecom towers conforms to company and legal health and safety requirements.
• Overseeing the coordination of construction works and ensuring that they are in accordance with priorities and plans
• Coordinate construction of telecom tower foundations to satisfactory and compliant completion.
• Reporting possible health and safety hazards.
• Following instructions and complete projects in accordance with methods of procedures
• Tracking the progress of work using checklists
• Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
• Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
• Resolve problems when they arise
• Producing schedules and monitoring the attendance of team.
• Inspecting construction sites continuously and ensuring that manpower and resources are adequate.
• Tracking expenditure and ensuring that it stays within budget
• Identifying and resolving problems that may arise during construction processes
• Ensuring that quality standards are met
• Guaranteeing and implementing safety precautions
• Reporting the progress of construction projects to managers, supervisors, engineers, and other relevant personnel.

Job Requirements

Requirements and skills

• High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter, construction etc.)
• Proven experience as construction foreman
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines
• Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate and report effectively
• Problem-solving abilities
