Job Description
iSON Xperiences Ethiocall PLC seeks to recruit a Human Resources Officer for our Ethiopia Contact Center.
The Human Resources Officer will provide HR support services at the contact Center by ensuring timely recruitment and selection of employees, coordination of Employee Engagement activities; timely preparation and maintenance of HR reports, and participating in regular audits on HR compliance.
Main Duties:
Ensures coordination of timely issuance of employment letter after proper verification and reference checks attaching respective job description – in consultation with the Location HR Manager and/or Operations Site Head.
Ensures maintenance of records of all employees at the contact center are at all times up to date; this includes but limited to records on employment contracts, promotions, performance management, training/academic documentation, beneficiaries.
Participates in sourcing, screening, interviewing, undertaking reference checks.
Works closely with the Location HR Manager and/or Operations Site Head in the implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
Ensures that Exit Interviews are conducted in line with the Separation policy.
Maintains a probation period tracker and ensures the timely confirmation/extension of probation/separation of employees on probationary contracts.
Ensures all new employees undergo an orientation programme and maintains a record of all new employees who have undergone the said programme.
Participates in conducting disciplinary hearings, and issuing of warning/termination letters with authorization from Location HR Manager and in line with the Disciplinary Code; process and procedures.
Follows up on employee well-being matters e.g. sickness/injury, bereavement, employee counselling.
Coordinates Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in conjunction with the Location HR Manager
In conjunction with the Location HR Manager monitors and ensures timely compliance on HR matters.
Ensures timely implementation and coordination of Employee Engagement activities.
Job Requirements
Academic & Skills Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or any other related field of study
1-3 years of experience preferably in BPO or CX company
Ability to establish good rapport and trust with employees
Proficient in MS word, Excel and Power point.
Good counseling skills
Demonstrated good interviewing skills
Excellent Communication and organization skills
Familiar with Performance Management process
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
Demonstrates a sound work ethic.
