We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for Principle Specialist: Access Network Architect within the Network Technology Function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.
Detailed Description
Reporting to the EHOD Network Access, The role holder will be responsible for designing and leading the network architecting of the Access Network Solutions and respective architecture for the Enterprise Business Unit (EBU) Microwave, IP networks and Fibre networks target architecture. This role is responsible for the technical analysis and holistic solution design of the Network Access capabilities and features, including cross-domain deliveries and technical enablers.
This role is responsible for delivering the target architecture that meet the EBU product and customer specific requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Translate the overall technology network topology and target architecture into corresponding solution designs for EBU customers.
Design end-to-end solutions and cross domain solutions.
Define operational, and quality requirements for EBU customer solutions.
Collaborate with domain specialists to plan delivery of customer solutions.
Provide guidance to delivery teams to ensure alignment with the EBU customer requirements.
Collaborate with domain specialists to ensure solution compliance to security, privacy, and regulatory needs.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or other related field is preferred.
Five to seven years of experience in the following disciplines: Microwave, IP Networking and Fibre connectivity.
Extensive exposure to multiple, diverse technologies environments
Extensive experience in technical capability modelling and technical and solution architecture.
Professional experience and knowledge of Telecommunications industries strongly preferred.
