Job Description
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Develop, implement and oversee an annual audit plan
Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control and risk management processes; recommend necessary changes
Oversee and conduct financial, operational, administrative, and information technology audits
Provide consulting and advisory services to maintain a quality assurance program
Evaluate and assess significant new services, processes, operations, and controls.
Liaise with the external auditors as appropriate, for the purpose of providing optimal audit coverage for Ethiopost
Carry out special audits and investigations as may be required
Follow up on the implementation of external and internal audit recommendations
Prepare comprehensive and timely standard audit reports for management decisions
Terms and Benefits
Permanent upon successful completion of probation period
Salary:17,633 birr
Benefits: health coverage, car, fuel allowance of 200 liters, a housing allowance of 7,000 birr
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, or related business studies
Minimum of ten years’ experience in finance and/or auditing of which 3+ years in a leadership position
Thorough knowledge of international and national Financial Reporting Standards, auditing regulations and principles
Excellent organization, time management
Initiative and self-drive for high-quality performance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
