We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for IT O365 Engineer within the Technology Function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.
Detailed Description
Reporting to the Manager, Back Office IT O365 Support, the position holder will design, build and deliver on office IT O365 setup that will serve as Safaricom end users. The platform will be used to continuously deliver on Safaricom’s Back Office IT operations and ensure communication and collaborations across teams
Role Responsibilities
Resolving incoming client and personnel IT queries remotely via email and phone, or at the office within SLA.
Install and configure hardware and software components
Administrate the office 365 suite and support all issues.
Administrate, build SharePoint sites, apps and workflows.
Test and evaluate new technology
Support Azure Active directory and cloud integrations.
Troubleshoot and fix IT support issues.
Speaking to customers to quickly get to the root of their problem.
Providing timely and accurate customer feedback.
Talking customers through a series of actions to resolve a problem.
Following up with clients to ensure the problem is resolved.
Providing support in the form of procedural documentation.
Managing multiple cases at one time.
Testing and analyzing IT system and software performance.
Completing support tickets.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or related field, preferred
A+, MSCE, O365 Certification, preferred
0-2 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in MS exchange 2016, O365 admin center &Active directory.
Experience troubleshooting email and exchange issues.
Skilled in IT hardware, IT networks and software installation
Proficient with MAC, Linux and Windows 10 OS
ITIL Certified is an added advantage.
Advanced collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
Attention to detail, active listening and good problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Good written and verbal communication. -English is an added advantage.
