Job Description
Symbol Technologies is one of the leading systems integrator in the country that provides various ICT solutions to the commercial, private, government, non-government education and telecom sectors. Currently our company is seeking to hire professionals with the following vacant position;
Major Responsibilities:
- Maintain and track all company expenses and petty cash.
- Prepares payment cheques and receipts for all incomes.
- Manages all government tax such as VAT declarations, Income Tax, withholdings, Pensions, rentals, utilities etc. on timely basis.
- Manages staff payroll, tax and pension related transactions.
- Organize and manage financial documents accurately both in hardcopy and soft copy
- Prepare financial reports such as P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
- Ensures adherence to all government financial regulations
- Reporting Tax through E-Tax, prepare tax computations and returns
- Reconcile various bank accounts by compiling and balancing financial information
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
- Assist in preparing budgets, annual auditing and year-end closings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Job Requirement & Skills:
- Qualification: BA Degree in Accounting and Finance
- Work Experiences: 1 to 2 years of experience in the field
- Knowledge and experience on Peachtree Accounting Software.
- Knowledge in major government financial regulations and formalities of ERCA.
- Demonstrates excellent oral, written, interpersonal (active listening),
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Required computer skills included MS Office (minimum Word and Excel)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) required
