Essential Function

  • collets proforma invoices from suppliers in accordance with the purchase procedures of the bank;

  • Delivers on time purchased items to the store against proper documents;

  • Settles as soon as possible all advance payments made to the purchase of supplies and other items;

  • Reports to supervisor any purchase delay or problems;

  • Keeps track of those essential items which could not be readily available in market and advises supervisor to maintain adequate stock;

  • Suggests improvements to make existing purchase procedures more efficient;

  • Maintain list of regular suppliers to facilitate immediate purchases;

  • Collects material specification from user departments, and gets assistance from IT Department when the goods are electronics;

  • Assures the items requested by user departments are budgeted;

  • Assesses the market before conducting procurement;

Job Requirements:

Qualification:- BA in Procurement and Supplies Management, Management, Business Administration, Accounting or related field,

Experience: - 1 year relevant experience preferably in the banking industry.
